The specialist

A decade of English teaching that takes culture and exam criteria seriously.

I am an international educator with a strong record of guiding Asian and African students in Uganda and Kenya to top marks. Lessons combine cultural empathy with high academic standards.

In person, and fully online.

I teach in person and online. After more than ten years of specialised work in IB English A: Language and Literature and IGCSE curricula (0500, 0990 and 0475), I am ready for ambitious students and families across Gulf countries, Thailand and Vietnam.

This is paper-by-paper coaching: how a commentary is built, how an oral holds under timing, how narrative and directed writing score, and how internal assessments stay reliable when the examination environment changes.

The method behind the results.

Three habits sit under every course of tuition.

Criteria first

Every task is mapped to the IB or Cambridge mark scheme so students know what examiners reward and what they ignore.

Cultural fluency

Teaching is shaped around linguistic nuance and family expectation, especially for Asian and African households working with international curricula.

Exam diagnostics

Weaknesses are isolated early: IO structure, HL Essay argument, EE research voice, Paper 1 method, Paper 2 comparison, IGCSE writer’s effects.
